Prisoner’s Story

I am H.F, I’m writing this story as a summary of my whole life. I was twelve years old and my family didn’t have the capability to let me enter the school because we were so poor so I have tried to work as a farmer.

My income for one day didn’t exceed eleven dollars. The boss of my work at the farm wanted me to earn more money so I can help more my family then he convinced me to enter the world of drugs' promotion where I can earn two hundred dollars per day.

So I have accepted the new work, so I can help my family especially my dad who enter each week to the hospital to have therapy for cancer in his stomach.

I didn't ever think what would be the end of promoting drugs, I was only thinking about the money.

As days pass the legal claims because of promoting drugs has followed me, until I have been arrested.

After one week from being arrested in jail they have told me that my father died .I have regret what I have done because  my father died while I am  in  jail and I didn’t have the opportunity to see him.

I have learned a lot of things in jail, I have learned to be patient and don’t allow other people to enter the world of drugs even my enemies.

The  Sycamore Tree Project has also played an important role in giving me a new hope to restart my life with a positive manner.

I thank God for everything especially for the most important lesson he has given to me which allowed me to regain my mind and morals and today I am new person and when I will get out of here I will build a new future for my life and for my son.

 Thank you.
